Čokot čarda (tavern) is located in Zmajevac on the slopes of Banska Kosa, near the Danube dipped in a thick swamp forests filled with wildlife and river fish. From Osijek the distance is 30 kilometers, and from the municipal center Kneževi vineyards around 7 kilometers.
Besides the closed area capacity of 35 people, from late spring to autumn, guests can relax in a walk, playing in the green fields surrounded by vineyards. Covered outdoor area with a capacity of 70 people, in the style of Hungarian Pusta – provides an opportunity for long into the night to enjoy the Hungarian music and feel the peace of the surrounding vineyards and the sleeping village.
With homemade dishes prepared on an open fire, we own local wines of superior quality, and their daily tasting. Organized groups must announce the appointment of the visit, number of people and type of food.
An offer of excellent fish stew, with the addition of carp, delicious stews catfish and pike, and traditional shepherd’s stew with a combination of lamb, pork and all kinds of baking. For dessert, we will offer homemade gužvara, walnut loaf and poppy.
